Trunk or Treat

On Sunday night after worship services, we had Trunk or Treat. The children dressed up in their costumes and went around to the different "trunks" that were decorated for Halloween. The kids had so much fun, and the weather was perfect. Chloe was a flower... her first Halloween!!! Afterwards, we had a potluck with lots of yummy soup, sandwhiches and dessert.

Fun with Family

Last night, Stephen and Chloe went to visit Tim and Heather and "the girls" while Lori was doing my hair in Russellville. Chloe had a great time, especially while playing in the tent with cousin Mindy. As you can see, she was gone by the time we got home.

Go Sarah!!

Last night, we were watching Sarah Palin give a speech in Colorado. It was so funny because Chloe climbed up on the couch, looked at the TV, and started clapping. This is one of the first times she has actually clapped.... we were so proud of our little Republican :)

Rascal Flatts Concert

On Friday night, Stephen and I went to Nashville for a date night. It was a really exciting night because we got to see my favorite group, Rascal Flatts, in concert. Rascal Flatts' manager is a client of Charlie's at the bank and gave us 4 complimentary tickets, which made it even better. We sat on the lower level and had an excellent view. Their lighting was amazing and they put on an a great concert. Thanks Andra and Charlie!!

My favorite song.... Stephen and I danced to this right after we were married in the gazebo in Jamaica.

Chloe's School

On Saturday night, we went to FCA (Foundation Christian Academy) for a chili supper and auction. This is where Chloe will be going to school when she turns four.... Stephen secured her a spot when she was only 3 months old. Chloe seemed to like her school and had lots of fun playing with Elizabeth. Chloe and Elizabeth will be in the same class, how exciting!! Thanks Lea for the pictures!!

Scary News

Stephen had an appointment with his retina specialist today. The question was whether or not to do surgery in the left eye. This doctor told us he was sorry to tell us, but he did not have the answer. If Stephen does not have the surgery, and his pressure continues to flucuate, then it can cause major damage to his optic nerve. However, if he does have the surgery, there is also a risk that he could have unreversible damage to the eye due to enlarge blood vessels that he has.....

So, the decision now is up to two other doctors who, one of which will perform the surgery. They have told us that Stephen will, at some point, have to have the surgery. The big question is just when??

Please continue to keep Stephen and his eyesight in your prayers. Pray that the doctors will make the right decicion about when to do the surgery and pray that if it be His will, Stephen will not loose any of his precious eye sight.

Fun with Mindy and Sondra

Mindy and Sondra came by for a visit on Tuesday night. Chloe had lots of fun playing with them as she had not seen them for a couple of weeks.

On Friday night, we headed to Russellville and spent the night with Grammie and O'Pa. Lori and Tyler came over to visit with us and we had a really good time. We got up early Saturday morning and Chloe went to her first Tobacco Festival!! She loved the parade, especially the bands.

An Uneventful Week

This is the picture of the week. Chloe was helping me load the dishwasher, as usual...and, when I turned around, this is how I found her. She is getting really brave lately as she is starting to climb and "let go". Today is her 10 month birthday. Happy Birthday Chloe!!

This has been a rather uneventful week. I am starting to get cabin fever as I have been sick since last Tuesday, with what I guess is a sinus infection. It started last Tuesday night when I had to go get a shot for a migraine. It has been downhill since then. On Saturday, thanks to Grammie, we were able to continue with our yard sale. Not much else going on....
