Merry Christmas???

Chloe's Christmas was not very merry this year!! We had to take her to the hospital on Christmas Day as she had been running a fever of about 103 degrees for about three days. Dr. Stewart met us at the hospital and did lots of tests and nothing showed up. She is now on her third antibiotic and the fever is slightly down. Please pray for Chloe to get better soon.

First Picture with Santa

We went to the mall for our first visit with Santa after church today. Chloe had been saying that she would be scared of him. She was intially scared and cried a little, but when Santa told her her boots were cool, she made friends with him. Chloe told Santa that she wanted "books" for Christmas this year.

I can't believe that our "baby" is two years old. Wow, how time flies!! Chloe had a birthday party at Hopscotch this year. Hopscotch is a playplace here in town with lots of fun things to do. There are bouncies, a playhoues, legos, jungle gyms, slides, etc. Chloe did not stop running the whole time she was there. She did not even take time to eat cake or ice cream.

Since this is a milestone, I wanted to take a few minutes and jot down some things that Chloe is doing, saying, etc.

She is singing her ABCs
Counting to 10
Knows all of her colors
Attempting to potty train
Sings songs: "The B-I-B-L-E" "Jesus Loves Me" "Rock a bye Baby" "Baby Bumblebee" etc.
Her favorite character is Dora
She loves watching Dora, Sesame Street, Fox and the Hound, 101 Dalmations
Pretends with a doctor kit, kitchen, babies... She loves baby dolls
She loves to work in the garage with Daddy and will stay for several hours just piddling around
She loves to look at books
She knows lots of Bible stories and characters and can tell short Bible stories as she "reads" her Bible every night

Some recent things Chloe has said:
"Can I play it tomorrow after I wake up?"
"What did you do today?"
She is substituting /p/ for /h/ so she says "picupps" and "popscotch"
