This time last year, Stephen and I were both very tired parents. After Chloe was born, she became jaundice and they sent us home with a light therapy blanket. We never got to use the blanket, because, on the night of December 10th, Chloe became very sick. She was totally unresponsive and had not eaten all day. We were scared to death!! When we could not "wake her up", Stephen flew to the hospital with Chloe in tow and Mom and I followed in the car behind. When we got to the ER, the nurse told us that we were new parents just "overreacting". When we were about to leave, Stephen demanded that Chloe's doctor be contacted. Another doctor on call came to see Chloe in the ER and admitted her for severe dehydration caused by the jaundice and my milk not coming in. Chloe was in the hospital for 3 days where they hydrated her and she began taking formula. Thank you God for sending us the right doctor.

I had forgotten about Chloe being in the hospital. I came to the hospital the night she was admitted after getting your message - you sounded very concerned!
We are SO thankful that everything worked out. Chloe is such a blessing and we love her so very much!!! :o)
