I never thought about how much we take our eyesight for granted until Stephen has had to go through all of this. My body got chills today after the doctor took off Stephen's bandage and held up her hand. "Can you see this?" she said. "Yes" said Stephen. Then she asked, "How many fingers am I holding up?" Stephen correctly said "two". Thank you God!! Our prayers were answered.
Stephen is doing well considering, he has been in lots of pain today. Hopefully, he will continue to improve each day. We go back to see the surgeon on Saturday... I will keep you posted. Thanks again for all of your support. We have gotten tons of phone calls, cards, and thank you so much Lea for the delicious meal.... it was so good!!
