Last night, Chloe became very clingy to us. Stephen laid her down for a nap and made a comment that she felt warm. When she woke up about 9:00, her fever was over 102 degrees. We gave her Tylenol and a cool bath and her temperature went down. This morning her temperature was back up to 102, so I took her to the doctor (we had to cancel her liver ultrasound that we had scheduled for this morning).
The clinic was like a war zone... Everybody was wearing masks and in the lab they had on goggles, gloves, and plastic coats and booties. Chloe had to wear a mask since she was being tested for the flu. She loved the mask and would not take it off, even when we got home!!
Anyway, we got the results back and she tested NEGATIVE for the flu, but there is still a chance she may have strep throat. We will get the results back tomorrow morning. She will not get to go to Big Red School tomorrow... I don't think I will mention it.
Please pray that we will not all get sick... I don't think I can stand any more sickness!!
