A Big Surprise!!

The day after we returned from our 10 day trip to Florida, I was unpacking and getting the house back in order when I got a phone call from Sara, our social worker. She wanted us to take two children, a boy who is 5 and a girl who is 9. We decided to "take the plunge". I have never been so scared and nervous in my whole life. Although I have always felt that this has been my calling, I was scared to death. I prayed and called several close friends and asked them to pray HARD!! We made the decision to take the children and it has been a very good decision for our family. Every one has adjusted well and things are going great!! I am so glad that God has blessed us with new "additions" to our family for a short time. However, I am unable to post names or any pictures on the Internet of the children. Continue to pray for our family as we continue this journey and pray that the children that are now living with us will be blessed and that they may see God glorified through us.
